In today’s global marketplace, studying Spanish--one of the world’s most widely spoken language - opens the door to many career opportunities and rich life experiences.
ACU’s bachelor degree in Spanish majors acquire language and cultural proficiency through in-depth study of language structures, cultural competency, literary knowledge and enhanced communicative skills. We strongly encourage our majors to bring their language skills to life and spend a semester in Uruguay or another approved immersion destination.
Preparing for multiple career opportunities
Multidisciplinary by nature, this Spanish (B.A.) program--especially when combined with another major or minor--gives students a solid foundation to work in business, education, service, translation, government or mission fields. Our program’s emphasis on literary genres, cultural studies, eras and interpretation can prepare you well for graduate studies as well as the Spanish teacher certification test.
