Master of Arts in Communication
Effective leadership begins with the ability to communicate clearly and graciously. Communication, in fact, touches nearly everything we do in this increasingly complex society.
The M.A. in communication at ACU offers a diverse yet integrated study of human interaction, techniques for improved teams, conflict processes and productivity. Here, you will grow personally and professionally as you enhance your communication skills and learn how you can make a difference wherever your career aspirations lead you. The degree can also set a foundation for further study.

What outcomes can you expect?
Career opportunities include leadership roles in ministry, administration, sales, corporate communication, consulting and training, intercultural relations and human resource development.
Admission Requirements
- Complete an online application;
- Pay the $65 application fee;
- An official transcript(s) in English (or translated to English) of all previous colleges attended. The transcript must indicate an earned bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or equivalent;
- A cumulative undergraduate approximate B average or above in the area of focus or related area and evidence of an overall productive GPA;
- Two letters of recommendation (may be submitted through the online application);
- An essay describing their purpose for pursuing a graduate degree in communication;
- A writing sample representing high quality work (e.g. term paper).
*Due to COVID-19, Our GRE test score admission requirement is currently waived.
