The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at ACU promotes a curriculum that is message-focused, technology-driven and committed to convergence in order to prepare students for a career in contemporary media. In addition to its five majors, the department offers minors in digital media, advertising/public relations, journalism or media studies; and, in conjunction with other departments, a journalism teacher certification and interdisciplinary graphic design/advertising degree is available.
