Department of Music

The ACU Music Department is committed to preparing outstanding musicians and leaders in our profession, and to reflect God's creative force and presence in our lives and art.

They teach and mentor in the classroom and studio using a wealth of experience gained from their performing, conducting, teaching, and composing careers. The faculty assists students in becoming outstanding performers, teachers, conductors, composers, and leaders in the music industry.

Abilene Christian University is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music. The Department of Music is also a member of the Texas Association of Music Schools.

ACU's faculty of Christian scholars and professionals are the foundation for student success. Each faculty member is an expert in their field, and at building supportive relationships with ACU students.
