Department of Teacher Education

The mission of ACU’s Department of Teacher Education is to prepare exemplary, committed educators for service in diverse and multicultural communities for the glory of God. This is a mission we take seriously.

We believe teaching is a ministry that calls us to continued personal and professional growth and transformation – a transformation we intentionally nurture in our teacher education students. It is our great joy as faculty to take this journey with our teacher candidates while they are students and as they continue into their careers.

The faculty of the ACU Teacher Education program are experts in their fields with extensive experience as classroom teachers, administrators and instructional coaches. They are committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring relationships.
